The Game released from jail after serving a week of his two-month sentence March 11, 2008
Almost a month ago to the date, Superior Court Judge Fred Wapner sentenced 28-year-old rapper The Game to 60 days in jail after the rapper plead no contest to felony possession of a firearm in a school zone.
On Sunday, the rapper, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, was released from jail after serving eight days of his sentence.
The Game was accused of pulling a gun on a player from an opposing team during a pickup game at a South Los Angeles school last year.
The Game was also ordered to complete 150 hours of community service and will be placed on probation for three years.
Under a plea agreement, two other charges against him were dismissed and he has been credited with two days that he already served in jail.
