This won’t come as a surprise if you’ve been watching ITV2’s revealing reality doc which follows the journey of six former pop groups as they get ready to perform on stage again. As with any reality TV show there are tons of sob stories, tales of fall-outs and breakdowns and why Sean from 5IVE was replaced with a cardboard cut-out in one of their videos – great TV.

Will any of the bands stay together after the tour and record new material? Who knows. I’ve been thinking of other bands I’d would like to see get back together – here are my suggestions.

Blue

In five years Blue managed three albums, which all peaked at number one, and eleven top 10 singles which included Too Close, All Rise and One Love. In fact, they were so popular that they collaborated with the likes of Elton John and Stevie Wonder. They reunited for the Eurovision Song contest in 2011, and this year have released their first studio album in ten years called Roulette!

Another Level

Despite their short existence, the R&B boyband had seven top 10 singles in two years and a platinum selling debut album. Hits included Be Alone No More, From the Heart and Bomb Diggy. And who could forget their only number one song, Freak Me, which gives Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It on a run for its money as the sexiest song ever created.

All Saints

The female four-piece may have been slightly overshadowed by The Spice Girls and their brand of Girl Power in the 90’s, but they still achieved a lot in eight years together. With five number one singles and two gold albums, they shot to fame with songs like Never Ever, Under the Bridge/Lady Marmalade and Pure Shores. A reunion may be off the cards however with Melanie Blatt stating in an interview that All Saints would never get back together and that she never wanted to sing again…

LFO (Lyte Funkie Ones)

Okay, so these guys weren’t British, but they had so many great pop songs. Summer Girls was their first big success and was followed by other hits such as Girl on TV and West Side Story. Other highs in their career were opening for Britney Spears and making guest appearances on The Amanda Show.

All in all, the Grammys this year was a huge success. Only Chris Brown let the night down by not applauding Frank Ocean for winning a Grammy. I guess they could sort it out like men in a parking lot but the last time they tried that it did not end very well.

People are still waiting for an official message from Kim on the whole matter but with the tweets coming from the other family members it does look like it is a legit pregnancy and not just another media stunt to get Kim a bit more exposure. We are sure that they will be great parents and the kid will have to battle Blue Ivy to watch the throne.

Do you have your Christmas jumper on today?

It’s no secret that Berry and her ex Gabriel Aubry have been locked in a custody battle surrounding their daughter Nahla. A while back, Berry had filed for permission to move out of the country with Nahla, which was denied due to a little US custody law that both parents must have ready access to the kid in a case of shared custody.

Now, things have finally come to a head with Berry and new fiancé Olivier Martinez and Aubry filing counter restraining orders against each other after a bit of a smackdown on Thanksgiving Day, the fallout of which has slowly been unfolding in the press ever since. Mostly because with both parties filing restraining orders at the same time, and Aubry walking away from the argument with a busted up face, no one quite knew who to root for.

Reports have been very mixed on what actually happened, but the latest official statement has cast Aubry as the attacker and Olivier acting in self-defense. Officer Timothy Chung said:

Suspect [Gabriel] arrived at victim’s [Olivier] residence for child custody exchange. Suspect and victim exchanged in verbal altercation. Suspect became upset and attempted to punch victim’s head but missed and struck victim’s right shoulder instead. Victim returned with 3 punches to the suspect’s head, causing him to fall to the ground. Victim’s fiancée notified police.

One fairly suspicious element of the case, though, is that security camera footage of the attack all pointed at walls and the street. Berry’s been saying that the move would primarily be to get Nahla out of the glare of the paparazzi in LA, but does anyone really buy that?

Believe it or not, American celebrity press has nothing on what European gossip rags have printed in the past. Exhibit 1: the nude pictures of Duchess Kate taken by a paparazzo while she was in France. With a restraining order in place, could she finally have the leverage to get that request granted?  There’s probably plenty of pressure on Martinez’s side to relocate too; I think at least a few people remember when he was dating Kylie Minogue and insisted she live in France away from her family despite being treated for cancer.

Aubry’s restraining order prohibiting him from seeing his daughter ended yesterday, and reports today are saying that both sides have reached an amicable agreement, though time will tell if this new round of peace will stick.

And of course, Donald Trump, celebrity busybody, voiced his own thoughts on the situation:

To celebrate the launch of the Christmas season, farfetch.com has teamed up with fashion designers Meadham Kirchhoff, artist and DJ Margot Bowman, set designer and illustrator Gary Card, and photographer Melinda Gibson. Each of these creative minds has been commissioned to produce an exclusive illustration that will be transformed into a series of Christmas gift-wraps and will be the basis of farfetch.com’s ‘Unwrap’ campaign.

This process has been recorded and the first installment of the campaign, featuring Meadham Kirchhoff, has been launched. The English-French duo graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2002 and since then, they’ve created an incredible range of womenswear, from gowns to womens’ suits, always including a playful and theatrical touch in their collections.

The design created by Meadham Kirchhoff has been turned into a physical gift-wrap which will be distributed as a complimentary gift in every customer order. The other three designs produced by the remaining creative individuals will be part of a site takeover in the lead up to Christmas.

This initiative showcases the collective visions of these influential individuals in each of their creative fields. As in Meadham Kirchhoff’s case, the design process for the rest of gift-wraps will be documented through a series of fly-on-the-wall films that will be also featured on farfetch.com. The gift-wrap will also include image recognition technology from Aurasma, allowing customers to scan the paper and watch the creatives’ design process.

Founder and CEO of farfetch.com, Jose Neves, said:

‘We are delighted to be collaborating with four dynamic names from the worlds of art and design, bringing these one-off creations to our online platform and sharing with a worldwide, fashion-forward audience. The campaign as a whole will offer users and customers exclusive access to the entire ‘Unwrap’ journey, creating what we hope will be an unrivalled online shopping experience.’

The campaign will be also supported by other on-site and social media based elements like an animated game titled ‘Pass the Parcel’, where users can participate to win daily designer gifts and share with their friends to gain entries to win £3,000 to spend on farfetch.com. The game takes the form of a world map, featuring a live feed of global players and gradually revealing the spread of participants from all around the globe.

There’s also an off-site element to the campaign. Since yesterday, several classic London taxis have been ‘wrapped’ in Meadham Kirchhoff’s design, taking the streets for one week and offering passengers festive inspired cakes from food blogger April Carter of Rhubarb & Rose and a chance to win designer gifts.

Plaid

Allsaints always does a good job with the deconstructed rock chick look, and this year is no different. The Check Gaboury Parka combines interesting draping with an understated plaid and those leather sleeves that have been showing up everywhere. Perfect to wear with skinny jeans!

Military

Military is extremely on trend this season, but how do you reconcile it with the nipped-waist silhouettes that have been showing up on the runway? The Topshop Military Piped Girly Coat combines army functionality with a skirt big enough to fit some puff underneath.

Quilted

There’s another designer collaboration in town. This time, it’s Japanese retailer Uniqlo working with Theory, and the result is some pretty fantastic down coats. The polar neck interior collar in particular would be amazing for keeping the wind out if you’re far up north.

Boyfriend

Oversized outerwear is having a bit of a fashion moment right now. Another piece from Topshop, the Soft Angora Boyfriend Coat is completely on trend while still being versatile enough to pair with a dress or jeans. Plus, it’s in that oxblood shade that’s been getting a lot of attention.

Baroque

And if you’re a brave soul who laughs in the face of the cold, there’s always this Valletta Biker Jacket from Oasis. Loud, sure, but definitely a piece that could almost create an entire Baroque look all on its own. I’d say, go over the top and pair it with black lace, slim velvet trousers and yellow gold.

I don’t know about you, but in my opinion, things have been a bit quiet in Hollyoaks recently; even though the ever so naughty Hollyoaks later brought sex, drugs, murder and mayhem to our screens. This was nothing new for a Later series and this one would have been much better without the increasingly annoying 6th forms being even more annoying now they are on after 9pm and can swear in place of punctuation. (And it still bothers me that I have to watch 1.5 hours of Hollyoaks a day when Later is on in case I miss a vital storyline!)

To be honest the most exciting things to have happened in recent weeks was being offered an insight into the inner workings of Hollyoaks bad boy Brendan Brady; he just loves too much! And of course, the death of Riley Costello, but quite Frankly as Hollyoaks’ “shocking” deaths go, even that was pretty boring. Not a patch on the Sarah Barnes Parachute incident or the Calvin “Who done it?” storyline!  Riley was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, YAWN!

However…our wait for Hollyoaks drama is over!

*HERE COME THE SPOILERS*

For those of you who have been keeping up with the latest goings on from the ‘Oaks on Channel 4 and don’t want to know what is about to happen you may want to stop reading now, for everyone else, how amazing was first look Hollyoaks on E4 last night?! It had everything you can hope for in a drama filled Hollyoaks shocker, pro-longed build up, suspense, action and terrible terrible CGI! Sheer brilliance.

For the channel 4 watchers who have stuck with us for the spoilers, here’s what happened! After Ste found out that Doug had been trying to get Brendan sent down, we spent most of the episode wondering whether Stoug would tie the knot. As well as hoping that Tony’s plans to make “Cindy’s world come crashing down around her” would involve more than him just blabbing about her affair in front of everyone in Hollyoaks. (Or what turned out to be 10 people from Hollyoaks and a bunch of people we have never seen before.)

Meanwhile after leaving a note for Jacqui under her pillow, Rhys turns up at Cindy and Tony’s flat to try to convince Cindy that she should run away with him instead of Marrying Tony, she declines…for now.

Ruby is grounded because Esther told Frankie and Jack of her plans to run away to Gretna Green, but the super annoying 6th formers help her to escape. After Bart turns up high and having forgotten to arrange transport, Neil is made new best man and Maddie suggests they steal a mini bus which Ruby thinks is “so romantic!”

Tilly confronts Maddie over the horrible things she overheard her say to Esther, Maddie is shocked when Tilly tells her they are no longer best friends, and we are left disappointed when Tilly doesn’t get into the mini-bus which we have come to realise is going to play an important part in today’s episode.

Ste speaks to Tony about his problems with Doug, we begin to realise how long these Characters have been around as they reminisce about Ste’s time as a “scally” working for Tony in El Nosh. Tony tells Ste he is proud of him and that he needs to decided what to do himself, we get a little teary eyed and Ste makes a decision.

When Doug turns up to get married we think that Ste isn’t there, but he is! The wedding goes off without a hitch! Someone runs in at the “let them speak now” moment but it is just Cindy’s 14 year old daughter Holly turning up late who looks like she is actually about 20 and seems to have become a blonde since she left a few years ago.

After the wedding it’s time for the speeches, this is it, this is where it all goes down!…but…it isn’t! Everyone gives a lovely speech, including Cindy and everyone carries on being happy. Looks like we might never know what Tony’s plans were.

Rhys leaves a note for Cindy in the guest basket thingy (he loves a good note it seems), then makes his excuses to Jacqui apologising for “leaving her” and tries to leave but Cindy having read his note begs him to take her with him! He says yes and Tony see’s the whole thing. Meanwhile Ste takes Doug’s phone to send a picture of them to Doug’s parents but discovers the truth about Brendan’s involvement in Danny Houston’s death in a voice recording which just happens to be right there ready to be listened too. Ste tells Doug it’s “over before it began” and leaves.

Outside, the 6^th formers have discovered that the mini bus they have stolen for some reason has the cakes for the other weddings in it. In fear of bringing bad luck to Ruby and Jono’s wedding they have made their way to the venue to drop off the cakes.

…AND HERE IS WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN…

Esther and Bart are chasing after the mini bus to try to stop the wedding. Maddie speeds up to get away but when Bart, high as a kite, tries to pull up beside them because he thinks the whole thing is hilarious, she soon realises she has no breaks and can’t stop!

Just then Leah walks out in front of the cars. Maddie and Bart swerve in different directions. Ste throws himself in to the path of the mini bus as he tries to protect his daughter. He take the full force of the bus as it collides with the wedding venue smashing everything in sight including Rhys and Cindy, windows tables and a whole bunch of unfortunate extras before it crashes right out the other side of the building.

And that’s it…that’s where it ends! Who lives? Who dies? We don’t know! Rumour has it there will be two major deaths in this storyline, and lives will be ruined.

But can he realistically win the X Factor? Despite being in the bottom two in the very first live show and again a couple of weeks ago, he still remains in the competition. Well, Jedward couldn’t sing either but made up for it with dancing (of sorts) and they finished 6^th in the competition. They too were controversially picked for the live stages.

Although his chances of making it even as far as the finals are slim to none, he’ll probably end up having a ‘career’ like Jedward. That means:

• Being managed by Louis Walsh.
• Representing his country at Eurovision. Well he’s certainly better ol’ Engelbert Humperdinck.
• Being a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother.
• Having a debut single that will do surprisingly well. Jedward reached number 2 with their version of ‘Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby).
• Falling during a performance on stage (Edward fell and required surgery during a performance of ‘Ghostbusters’).
• Having a fly on the wall documentary commissioned.
• Staring in a pantomime. Seriously, Jedward appeared in Jedward and the Beanstalk, a musical comedy.
• And appearing in a string of TV adverts. My guess is a fake bake product.
