Jamie Lynn Spears, 16-year-old sister of Britney Spears, is knocked up December 19, 2007
Jamie Lynn Spears, the sister of Britney Spears, is pregnant at just 16.
She told her mom Lynn the good news before Thanksgiving.
Nickelodeon, the network on which her soon-to-be cancelled "Zoey 101" is aired, issued the statement: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."
The show's third season concludes on January 4th with Zoey having to choose between staying in her boarding school or leaving to be with her parents in London. However, the 4th season has already been shot and from what we hear, Nickelodeon still has plans to air it.
The daddy of 16-year-old Jamie Lynn's baby is 18 or 19-year-old Casey Aldridge. Either way, that's statutory rape.

and, Britney is not to blame for Jamie Lynn's actions. If anyone is to blame, it's her mom for not putting her priorities in order. She was good at handling her daughters' careers, but she could have spent more time just being a mom.

Leave them alone? They're the ones selling their stories to the magazines. No one made Jamie Lynn sell her teenage pregnancy story to OK Magazine. Guess what-when you take it upon yourself to tell a magazine crap like that, some people are gonna judge you. She knew that people already talked crap about her sister, and probably her. What did she think was gonna happen by going to a magazine with her story???
