When I watched Adrienne Maloof and husband Dr. Paul Nassif on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it was clear that one of two things was going on – either their dull bickering asses were just playing up to the cameras (it’s difficult competing with Taylor’s unravelling mind, Kim’s alcoholism and Kyle’s Demi-Moore-Hair) or they hated each other.
Well, as it turns out, they hated each other.
The pair filed for divorce last Thursday.

Of course, Adrienne – heir to the Maloof Family bajillions – will hang onto her fortune thanks to the pre-nup signed by her and Paul right before they vowed to be together forever. PHEW! Pre-nups 1, Wedding vows 0
And we don’t have to feel too sorry for Paul. His work as a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon surely means he won’t be struggling to pay the bills.
So, here’s the sad part. Adrienne and Paul have three young boys who look set to become the latest victims of yet another celebrity custody battle.
In her first public statement about the divorce, Adrinne cited the welfare of her children as her motivation to split. She said: “I’m so sorry that this is happening but my children are my life and sometimes we need to do what’s best for them. It’s an unfortunate situation but, I have to have my kids best interest at heart.”
Quite cryptic indeed, but more information has emerged that makes a heated custody battle seem increasingly likely. Citing a ‘source close to Adrienne’, Radar is reporting that Adrienne wants full custody, as she thinks that’s what’s best for her kids.
Paul, on the other hand, is seeking joint legal and joint physical custody of the boys.
