Madonna is facing legal action over her 1990 megahit Vogue. VMG Salsoul claims samples of Salsoul Orchestra’s hit “Chicago Bus Stop (Ooh, I Love It)” were used and never paid for.

Apparently the samples only recently came to light thanks to new technology designed to isolate and identify individual sounds. VMG Salsoul are now claiming copyright infringement and demanding unspecified damages.

So, what’s it all about? Have a listen to Vogue at 0:56 and 1:02

Now compare it to Salsoul’s Ooh, I Love it  at 5:13 and 5:15
