We are loving blusher this summer and this is why…
Why we love it
We do love some blusher in our make-up bags as it brightens up a simple look and can give you a really girly look. It can give you some additional colour, or it can give you a more even colour. It can also make an outfit stand out a bit more like the one below!
Make your outfit work with your blusher like this Kate Middleton Jubilee outfit, which compliments its blusher perfectly:
Our Favourite Brands
There are so many different choices of blusher these days. from powder to cream to gel, so here is a list of some of the best blushers around.
Moving on from powder to cream? Try No7 Blush Tint Cream Blush as it comes in a stick making it easier to apply. It’s only £10 so if you don’t like it, you haven’t massively lost out.
Want something you can apply on the go? Check out Benefit blush for a simple, easy to apply blusher.
How about a gel based blusher? Look at the Body Shop Cheek Blush which moisturises as it gives your skin a glowing colour.
Got fair skin? Why not try out Physicians Formula: Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush? It is a perfect blush for fair skin; it smells good and doesn’t fade! Check it out!
This is a bit of fun on how to make the most out of your blusher. We are all struggling with money these days so the more uses we can find with one product, the better! So how else can you use blusher?
Blend Sunburn or Tan lines
We do it all the time, no matter how much sun cream we apply, we seem to miss a bit! So why not use a pink blusher to fade out the lines created by sunburn or a bronzer to fade in your tan lines.
Cover Small Scars or Birthmarks
We all have them and some are more obvious than others. So if you want to hide your birthmarks, use a small amount of blusher and smooth over the mark with it.
We’ve also created this Pinterest board full of gorgeous images of types of blusher, brushes and some cute looks.
