Wallis announced recently that they have a new print designer designing products for their brand, Lollie Dunbar. But who is she and what can we expect from her?

Lollie studied print design at Winchester School of Art and days she knew at a young age that she wanted to become a fashion designer. She has always know she wanted to do something creative so if she wasn’t designing clothes, she would want to be writing about them!

Her inspiration comes this collection comes from interior designed products especially iconic styles like tribal shapes, Greek pottery and Egyptian jewellery.

Her personal design is mainly a black base to emphasise colourful accessories, which explains why her favourite piece from the collection are her scarves. Although she is a fan of the black base, her favorite colour is orange which you can see in her collection of black and white shapes with orange detail.

The collection has maxi dresses, scarves and jackets designed to suit all sizes and ages and are just the things to get for the wedding season! And it seems other’s agree! Fashion Mommy loves the collection and says the halterneck dress in particular is perfect for a wedding.

Lollie defines her collection as fun, chic and versatile and we would definitely agree so excuse us, but we are away out shopping the collection now! Love what you see and now have a taste for prints? Check out our Pinspire board for some more inspiration.

What do you think about Lollie Dunbar’s Collection? Which is your favourite piece?
