Johnny Depp has issued a challenge to Robert Pattinson in The Sun by claiming his latest character Barnabas Collins is more manly than Edward Cullen. He says:
Johnny said: “There is room for two big vampires at the minute in the cinema but I’m the alpha vampire.
“I’m the more manly one.”
Dark Shadows, Depp’s ninth collaboration with Tim Burton, sees him play Barnabas Collins, set free after 200 years of imprisonment. He returns to his ancestral home, where his dysfunctional descendant are in need of his protection.
Surely Twi-hard fans will have something to say about this, but did that lovable rogue Depp have his tongue planted firmly in his cheek when he threw down the gauntlet?
