So the latest instalment of the Twilight franchise hits our screens this weekend, and the collective sighs of internet fangirl anticipation are reaching critical levels. As a teaser to keep you going until the mouthful of a title that is Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 is released, we thought we’d round up the latest pieces of gossip about our favourite pasty lovebirds and their pals.

R.Pattz and K-Stew steal from Twilight set?
Well, not really. But the young stars did reveal what they WOULD steal from set as a souvenir of their time on the films. Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan, said she would take the moonstone ring from the film’s set. According to RumorFix:
The ring is steeped in history, some believe they can see the phases of the moon in the gems.
Rob Patt, however, went for the more practical choice of the $200,000 Aston Martin car featured in the film. Good work, RP. [RumorFix]
Jackson Rathbone is actually the Vampire Lestat
Jackson Rathbone, the moody stud, famous for playing the perennially aggrieved looking Jasper Cullen, rocked up to the Breaking Dawn premiere in an actual crushed red velvet suit, confirming suspicions from many that Rathbone moonlights as the Vampire Lestat. [Go Fug Yourself]
Robert Pattinson planned to walk out of his own movie
According to Female First, R.Pattz made plans to leave in the middle of his own move premiere so he wouldn’t have to watch his steamy sex scenes with co-star and rumoured real life love, Kristen Stewart. Pattinson told reporters he planned to leave the cinema to avoid embarrassment. When asked about how he would react to the public finally seeing the scene, he replied: “I’ll probably have left”. Kristen Stewart is barefoot. Again.
Kristen Stewart had enough of her super-high peep toe platforms at the Breaking Dawn premiere on Tuesday, claiming a foot injury as the reason for her barefoot state. She told Access Hollywood:
[My feet] hurt so bad… I just hurt my foot on ‘Snow White’ of course, because I do that to myself all the time.

Twilight Fans erect own ‘’Tent City’’ in anticipation of Breaking Dawn premiere
Twilight fans were asked to move from their tent city outside the theatre in downtown LA. Police were brought in to ask fans to leave due to overcrowding. It’s not exactly #OccupyWallStreet, but it’s a start! Luckily, fans were given bracelets that gave them access to the area again in time for the premiere – so they could leave and get some sleep!
