Fashion

Have you been walking around in heels so high you can’t even see all the little people? Well perhaps that means you’ve missed what’s been  going on in the fashion world. Here’s a catch up just for you.

Probably fake Kate Middleton story

It  has reported that Anna Wintour is pulling out all the stops to get Pippa Middleton’s less eligible sister on the cover of Vogue. What those stops might be is unclear although there have been rumours of a £20 Topshop gift voucher. If the story proves true Kate would join such previous prestigious cover girls such as Michelle Obama and fellow Royal Lady Gaga.  The Palace have of course denied these reports.

Let’s stick with the Vogue editor as Anna Wintour gets all political at Milan fashion week.  In am interview with La Repubblica she has branded Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s government “a dictatorship”. She has now called for women at the Milan fashion shows to rise up against him and demonstrate against his womanising ways. She’s such a revolutionary.

Pretty people have pretty children

The pouting lips, the long legs, those great cheek bones – Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler is hot in a weird old dude kind of way. So no surprise all his children are so pretty and successful. The latest chip of the old block is 18 year old Chelsea, who the singer spawned with fashion designer Teresa Barrickl. She’s signed for global model agency IMG after doing a shoot with her daddio for Andrew Charles’s leisurewear line.

That list is just so cool

A bunch of people including  Jessie J and Miquita Oliver sat in a room and decided that things were cool. Does anyone care? Sure they do: lists are easy copy for bored fashion journalists and good PR spin for those featured. This list comes from CoolBrands – they must be cool because they have that name. Turns out that Alexander McQueen is cooler than Chanel. Nope, still don’t care.

They can’t sing but they can fight

Cheryl Cole and Victoria Beckham look set to go head to head over Cheryl’s recent foray into fashion. According to those insiders who spill everything  to the papers, VB thinks Cheza might damage her reputation by association. Cheryl has been singing the praises of the former Spice Girl and wants to be just like her when she grows up. Victoria has climbed to the top of the fashion chain and she’s worried Cheryl might be just a little bit too Primark. It’s a death match the world needs to see.

We’ll be back next week. If you see any stories you think must be reported then give us a holler in the comments section and maybe we’ll feature it next week.
