Brad and Angelina to Marry!

There is a rumour going around that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (or Brangelina) may be about to tie the knot. But don’t get too excited because this won’t be the first time we have heard such a rumour. The gossip going around Hollywood is that the A-list pair could even be married within the next few months!

The couple had previously stated that they would not get married until it was legal for everyone to marry the person they loved, which meant that they would wait until gay marriage was legalised in America.

However, an act was passed earlier this year which allowed gay couples to marry in New York. Brad himself even hinted that marriage was something they would now consider which has got everyone talking.

But could marriage be an end to the Brangelina romance? After all Brad’s marriage to Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston only lasted about five years. There was much speculation when Brad split with Jennifer about whether he was having an affair with Angelina. Around the time of the divorce, Brad and Angelina were working together on their Hollywood block buster movie “Mr and Mrs Smith”.

Angelina Jolie has been married twice before: firstly to Trainspotting actor Jonny Lee Miller in 1996, they separated after 18 months; and then to another actor, Billy Bob Thornton, in 2000 which lasted three years.

Now six years on Brangelina have six kids together: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. At an event in Cannes earlier this year Brad hinted that because marriage has become more meaningful for the children, the couple may now consider it.

The gossip suggests that the couple plan to marry in an intimate and informal ceremony, which will possibly take place at a chapel in their Chateau in France.
